Lia is a struggling art-student, her mind full enough to add anymore problems. When she witnesses something extraordinary, every fiber of her being tells her to turn away, not believing it. Her world seems to be crashing down, falling to Shadows. Little does she know, she had always belonged in the dark.
This is the Shadowhunter-story, but without the Fairchild family. I really wanted to focus this story on the individual character-relationships, and didn't want that whole brother-sister-conundrum to steal the show.
