A faraway land called Arya, where humans and fairies lived amongst each other in peace, magic whispered in the air. It was like this for years, until magic was outlawed after it was used for evil purposes.
Anyone with magical powers or traces of them were killed, in order to make sure that magic would never come about to the land again.
Until one day, hundreds of years after the outlaw, one special girl is born.
Her name is Arawan Gale, nicknamed Free or sometimes Ari. All say that it's impossible for anyone to have powers by now, after all this time no one has ever wielded powers.
But Arawan is a miracle. Though no traces on her bloodline, and everyone saying it's impossible, it's all real.
But she doesn't know for sixteen years of her life, no one does. But once she discovers her abilities, she already knows how dangerous it is to reveal them and keeps them a secret.
And hey, maybe there are other people out there who are just like her.
