I didn't own very many things because my parents didn't care about my wants and very little about my needs. I looked back out into the dark of the night and jumped, once on my feet I started running and didn't stop, I didn't care about the rain or the cold. I wanted nothing more than to be free of the abuse my parents inflicted on me."

Twilight? anyone?) so i took into my able hands the job of: a. making Uri a better ML overall, he's nicer and more gentle which is what i strive for with my male characters in general. b. i gave a personality to Delilah. in the beginning, she was simply a face for my demons and mental issues, but when i decided to make this into a real novel, i had to face the fact that she was just.... flat-out boring and unrealistically blank (and selfish too... made me rethink my own views haha...). so hopefully this helps the book go smoother and everything. enjoy!

I look up at Todd's window and grimace when I see him gently pushing Jennifer into his room. So that's where he went.
