Both Camila and Lauren couldn't be any more different. Lauren is the quiet, shy, antisocial woman that hangs out at a local diner by herself with just her books and her mind.

Camila is the very known, hot sociable CEO at Thornton Magazine, thanks to her daddy, who owns the place.

Both have different friend groups, Lauren's friends being herself and her only friend Normani, while Camila's is her dad's older friends and her boyfriend's friends.

They know about each other since Camila goes to the diner every once in a while seeing Lauren, while Lauren sees her in magazines. Camila is in a relationship with her longtime abusive boyfriend Alex. Nobody knows about it. But what happens when Lauren witness Alex hitting her?

"Why a-are are you helping me?" She cried, wiping away the tears that stained her beautiful face, as they streamed down her cheeks.

".. I want to" was all she could muster up, helping wipe away her tears, which kept falling like the rain down the window pane.

"That doesn't exactly answer me" She laughed un-humorously, looking up at her with her red puffy eyes.

"I'm doing this because I want to help... I want to be.. your salvation"
