Gwen Vasquez had grown accustomed to attending St. Annabel's Academy, an all-girls boarding school and place of comfort for her, that is, until it became co-ed just in time for her senior year. Thrown into this new environment, Gwen struggles to adjust and attempts to take action against the school board and their choice of change; however, in the process, she finds herself questioning who she really is as adulthood encroaches. But Gwen soon finds out that she isn't alone in this struggle, and if it weren't for this change at St. Annabel's, she never would have met the boy who helped her take a stand.
