Seth, Kacia, and Daniel. Years back, when they were in fifth grade, they all promised to meet again- no matter what it took. Just before they thought they would be separated forever, Daniel fell for Kacia. Now, five years later, they’ve been reunited- perhaps a coincidence, perhaps not. Seth, Kacia, and Daniel have all been invited to join the same special academy for the intellectually gifted- or Talented. An extensive, truly massive castle from the Middle Ages- with a few futuristic surprises, a headmaster who seems to know everything, and a shrouded past behind every student- Seth, Kacia, and Daniel not excluded. So much has changed in the past five years and Daniel quickly discovers that they all have a few secrets, maybe some students more than others. What’s more, a new girl comes into Daniel’s life- Yvette. Beguiling, brilliant, shy, insidious- she’s the heartthrob of the school. Now, to top it off, Seth isn’t the same and Daniel quickly realizes that something is terribly wrong. What do you do- can you do- in a situation like this?
