Watching her slide into my tail coat gracefully, holding onto her knapsack as if trying to stop the urge to come anywhere near me, or so I thought. 

Marching past me, she turns around upon reaching a particular mark made on the ground and faces me
'Are you even going to start walking anytime soon?' She shouts while examining the faded mark on the ground.

Ignoring her comment I closely watch her every move. She takes out a small piece of clay, rolls it till it's made into a thin sheet almost equal to the size of the mark and places it on the mark in order to take an impression. Satisfied with the result she gets up, facing me again. I see her do a weird face-action that stirs something inside me. Giving me one last glance, she goes further away from me. Literally and figuratively.

Standing there alone, I try to reason why my heart was beating like I had just been in a marathon? Was it because of her? Why did I even agree to her accompanying me? I'm Jason, the king of the greatest kingdom, who doesn't need anyone's help! Then why wasn't I able to tell her to piss off like any other person?

Was it because of her nagging nature or it was her eyes? Those eyes that spoke volumes. Those eyes which reminded me of my w--

'Stop day-dreaming, I can see the drool from where I'm standing' I hear her distant shout once again 

Quickly clearing my throat I follow her
