My head snapped back and forth as I tried to find where they were hiding. The thumping in my chest grew louder and my blood ran cold. A harsh gust of wind swept my hair off my face, and a putrid smell stung my nose. A weird noise echoed all around me and their chilling voice spoke.
"You are living in a world that hates you. Blinded by a false notion that what you are seeing isn't real. These people are liars. I am real, you are real and supernatural creatures real. And you never know when they might strike." They whispered, and it wasn't until then that I realized that they were right behind me the whole time.

Aleria is a lonely girl, with a brother that hid her from the world after their parents were murdered. He mentally and emotionally abused Aleria, and she had endured it for long enough. Determined to run away, she is faced with a twist of events that leaves her confused and hopeful. Maybe this is her escape from a life that she hated. Maybe what she once thought were myths are actually real, and they are going to change her life for the better.
