Everyone has their own talent in life - whether that is being able to paint great masterpieces that carry culture for centuries or make the best roast potatoes in the world. This gift can be life-changing, in a small, day-to-day kind of way, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant.
But what if this talent was more powerful than the normal one, powerful enough that it would be classed as a 'superpower'. What if it was powerful enough that people in authority want hunt and control you - or kill you?
Tara isn't really average, in the way of being a teenager in school. But she's never stood out for any particularly dangerous reason before.

Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
