Casters

A very long time ago there existed not a man, but a woman by the name Greya Stratos. This woman discovered a powerful source of energy she called magic. She shared this discovery with the world and in doing so, she tore it apart. Magic unleashed the beings of Empyrean, a world parallel to ours that was filled with many strange creatures. But there was only one that struck fear into the hearts of men, this dark and terrible force ravaged everything in its path, and was appropriately named "The Scourge". The only thing that could defeat the Scourge were those who could wield magic, aka Casters. But not everyone can wield magic, very few can wield this powerful energy. Humanity could no longer depend on magic and turned its back on casting. But it wasn't until a brilliant scientist whose name was Scorch Dretch made a magnificent discovery. He learned of a way to harness magic through the use of weapons and tools, and thus humanity was put back on top. But something is happening, something is changing in the world and only the Casters can stop. My name is Calvin Nightfall and I am one of those Casters.
