Mark is a werewolf. As are his family. After being attacked by hunters, Mark's brother and sister in-law are killed. Mark is forced to become the alpha of the pack and adopt his nefu after the tragic death of his parents.
Jack's entire family have been hunters for years. Every generation showing teaching their children about "the family business". The McLoughlin's are one of the best hunting families their is. When he goes to America for a convention and to visit his best friend Mark. Jack is invited to work along-side one of the younger hunting groups. He is asked to "show them how it's done"
Jack gets cornered and threatened by a pack of wolves and he knows he is out-numbered. What he didn't expect was for one of the wolves in the pack to protect him.
Little does Jack know, the wolf that protected him is Mark.
This wolf tells Jack that his pack are angry because they are being hunted and killed needlessly, to the point where the local hunters will kill the young, sick, weak, old and injured because they're easy prey. Jack informs this wolf that by doing so, the local hunters are breaking the rules and depending upon the severity of their crimes could be handed over to the mercy of the wolf pack they've been torturing.
Will Mark tell Jack that he is the wolf that Jack is helping?
