Looks like a race.. But WAR it is! Some bleed, some died, still it no one looks back. From generations, three families are commanding the finances of the Southern Asia. They are closely knit. No common man knows about their affairs or the existence of the throne. 'Love' is alien to them. The mere existence of this word is considered as plague in between them. It is not seen in any of the mother, father, wife, husband, son daughter, brother, sister. All they know, in their world, is their 'Obsession' for Power! They are, infact, trained to have only this word on their lips, body, mind & soul.

Still, LOVE silently seeped into their lives, two generations ago, in between Mother & son, Father & Daughter, Woman & Man. Alas! It destroyed them all, marking forever that, it is indeed "The Game of the Throne".

Now, when the war is still on.. one prince fell in love in love with a girl, whose name and face are the only things he know. What happens to him? and who is the girl?

This is the love story of , Arnav Singh Raizada & Khushi Singhania/Gupta where every living and non-living things are not exactly in favor of their union. Their love story, along with the race to the throne will be seen in this book

P.S: This is not a historical fiction! This is intended to happen 2016/17. You will see flashbacks, the years will be mentioned then. Throne, I am referring to is an extremely high powerful position. You will see mostly Indian names, Reason : Well, I am an Indian and I am well-versed with its culture. I don't mention any particular city name, as I use regular places like malls, beaches, colleges etc., If I want to refer any particular Monument/Event then the city details will be provided. Why 'Aranv Singh Raizada' and 'Khushi Gupta'? - Those are one of my favorite characters. so why not? But except for the names, you will find no resemblance, what so ever.

The day meant to be the best day of her life had turned out to be the worst one. Celebration of love and harmony, which the night was supposed to be, ended up as the witness to bloodshed and hatred. With the stench of corpses choking her and the sight of mutilated bodies shattering her, Khushi stood benumbed, decked up in exquisite bridal finery, and the signs of a newly married woman shining brightly against her paled demeanor and the blood which had splayed against her; the blood of her own, maybe of her own father. Her father's lifeless body was strewn across several others and her mother's breathing yet lost body hovered over his; her hollow and teary eyes pleading him to rise and embrace her but her efforts were in vain. But that was not the only agony killing her from inside. The affliction of betrayal, from her own husband, on the wedding day, after reiteration of his love from the passionate ministrations on their first night together, felt like the worst nightmare coming true. From the pieces of her broken heart, the resolve to avenge arose and Khushi Gupta was not the one to let her heart's desire be unheard. Deceit for a deceit, eye for an eye, heart for a heart, so what if the world ends or goes blind? After all, all is fair in love and war and Arnav Singh Raizada had turned her love into the inspiration for a bloody war. ~Stab the body and it heals, but injure the heart and the wound will last for a lifetime.~ Banner: @KoeliDalmiya

Hello Readers! This was originally a Bepannaah/Adiya fanfic, but I am publishing this story as an Arshi fanfic as well. I hope this fandom enjoys this story just as much as Adiya fans did. Description: A marriage of convenience between Arnav and Kushi. A tragedy brought them together and both knew they can never love each other. But then why were they drawn to each other? Why couldn't they stop themselves from coming closer? See their relationship develop in this new love story. "Tum meri zindagi mein sukoon le ke ayi...lekin tum zaroorat kab ban gayi patha hi nahin chala..." DISCLAIMER: The concept is inspired from the movie Bewafa, so I take no credit for that. I also take no credit for the characters of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon or the pictures. HOWEVER, this story's development, the scenes, and the dialogues are mine. Any similarities to other works is purely coincidence. Any inspirations or references to other works...I will credit to at the end of chapters. This story will be in English, with some dialogues and lines in Hindi. Please forgive me for any grammatical mistakes as Hindi is not my first language. Plagiarism will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Remember, even "inspirations" require credit so please be respectful of my work just like I give credit to whoever I am inspired by. Lastly, please let me know if you like this story. I love reading comments. Feedback is always welcome, as long as you keep it constructive. Thank you so much for giving this story a chance! I'm hoping to connect with Arshi fans through this story.

His heart was a fortress, haunted by the warmth he pushed away, scarred by the silence he forced between them, all because he believed she deserved more than the broken pieces he could offer. And, her heart was a battlefield, bruised by all the words he never said and all the love he refused to show. But no walls are unbreakable, and no heart can stay silent forever. Sooner or later, her war would reach his gates, and maybe, just maybe, he'd let her in. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Set in early 20th-century Delhi, it is the tale of Arnav and Khushi, two childhood companions bound by shared trauma and unspoken affection. As they navigated the complexities of societal expectations and pursued personal ambitions, their profound friendship quietly transformed into a love they dared not acknowledge. Amidst the fear of losing each other forever, they must confronted their feelings and weighed the risks of pursuing a future together, where happiness hung delicately in the balance. It is my first attempt at writing fiction. I might be wrong about certain aspects of that age and era, but it's a fantasy, so why not? I don't own Arnav and Khushi, and this story is purely fictional. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. This story is a submission to the 13th Anniversary Arshi Fiesta 2024, according to the moodboard Historical AU on Tumblr.
