However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. In this planet most physics and natural laws are like earth's but evolution has taken a much different course to the point where there are many different species of sentient creatures. One of these races was the Zeph. The Zeph have an unique way of consolidating a relationship, one engraved on a biological level. Sometimes gone awry, this consolidation doesn't work for everyone. This is the story of two zeph trying to deal with this almost unprecedented failure among their people.
