Rose Lips

Words weren't exchanged. Hell, I didn't know how to explain what I just did. I bit my lip for a millisecond before his voice echoed in my mind and I released. It didn't go unnoticed by Mr. Observant, of course, his chuckle rumbled his chest then it died out and he was back to searching my soul.

"You don't know how crazy I am about you," he whispered with a hint of a smile on his lips. He leaned up and shook his head, smiling down at me, "you drive me insane."

I opened my mouth, then closed it again, unsure of what to say. I blushed though, that was indeed a given when a boy like Daniel Cayne said something like that to you.

He strung out a sigh before leaning forward.

"Amelia," he breathed out, "let me kiss you."
