The darkness consumed me, swallowing me whole and enclosing my fate in its bare hands. Was this all the life i had left? Was this everything i could accomplish? Sahara opened her eyes then, and the murky waters were so alien and unrecognizable. She screamed then, but the only thing that could be heard was eternal silence.

I awaken in the middle of the night. Laying in my bed, I look around the attic. Dusty and dirty as usually, but now wet because of the storm. Drops of falling water were heard around the room. Other than the constant sound of thunder, and pouring rain.
