Melia Ashby was, like everyone else, shocked and scared when the first cases of the virus emerged. But she survived. She was afraid and alone when the virus ravaged the world. But she survived. It came naturally to her. Melia was born a fighter.
But when she reunites with the people she loves, suddenly surviving isn't so easy. Keeping them alive is now the priority, not her own life. Melia thought of herself as a team player before. Hell her division thought so too. But now? She finds it hard to play well with others, even those close to her.
The old rules now apply, the survival of the fittest. So the tyrants, and money men have fallen. The era of the dead has started, and Melia has to do what she does best.
