Ice cream always reminded us of each other. That was how we met after all, the ice cream was melting down the cone as she made a bigger mess of herself by stuffing what was left in her mouth. She looked at me from beneath her long lashes. A blush quickly formed on her face when she noticed I was watching.

Turns out that Viktor knew her from long ago.

She would come watch our practices, not once would she scold me for messing up a jump or even criticize me. She would watch our competitions and cheer. Sometimes I liked her presence; others, it wasn't so appreciated, but I was always lonely when she was gone.

But now she's gone forever
