Recently, I took to perusing the pages of "The Cost of Discipleship," a book by Dietrich Bonhoeffer (more on him inside), and have discovered many interesting truths that I agree with, and many beliefs of Bonhoeffer's that I happen to disagree with. I evaluated each chapter, and decided to  detail my thoughts in the coming pages of this compilation. Feel free to give it a read if you feel like it.All Rights Reserved

A little over a year ago I met a man thought would change my life forever in many aspects both good and bad. This is a true story about a sexual abusive relationship between my childs father and I. It takes a person of great courage to bare their soul to the general public, but this story of mines definitely has to be told in order for me to find the clarity I rightfully deserve. I do realize after reading this, people will judge me, some may shun me. However, at the end of the day no man is perfect except god himself. So with that being said...Ladies and gentleman this is, "Bearing My Soul"

I recall how my sister and I used to recite a little poem together as we gazed up at the big, star-studded, Kansas night sky together. "Star, light, star bright, First star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have this wish I wish tonight" She used to tickle me until I would tell her what I had wished for. You know what? God heard my boyish wish upon a star and granted me a life filled with adventure. If you ask me why He chose to grant my wish, I'd say it was so that I could share my adventures with others. Now, you may expect that, as Mark Twain said, my stories have at least an element of truth, but that I've added a lot of color - truth be told, they are more flavor than fact. I expect that my brother is right when he says that I've added so much color so as to make the stories mostly fiction. I hope you can tolerate this.

It took us a long time to understand that we are not one person. At first, we thought we had bipolar disorder with extremely minor manic episodes. We were often tired, tearful, than again better, even childishly euphoric. The only thing missing for such a diagnosis to make sense was that during those moments of childish happiness for us to make impulsive, irrational choices. The only behavior closest to one that could be included in the category of manic was that when we felt okay, we had more energy to study, so we spent more time in reading textbooks. However those times were not several hours of continuous work - which suggested it was not a symptom of an even very small mania. However, if not that... We struggled to figure out why we happened to feel so variously reacting to similar stimuli. For a long time we were afraid to consider that maybe something had happened in our early development and that we had never become one person, as everyone assumed. The time on the Internet helped us a lot. It was on YouTube that we saw a video, where one of the systems shared their experience. And among all the teasers that appeared on our screen, we decided to click that one and devote ourselves to acknowledging the content of this particular channel. We watched one video after another until we felt we understood the most important things that this System wanted to share. At first, we thought we were just curious and wanted to better understand and support other systems, but then a few months later one night we dared to consider that we had watched these videos for ourselves...
