Everyone wants to fall in love. It is one of life's noblest and most worth while pursuits. Yet, life sometimes has a funny way of screwing with those brave enough to search for it. For brothers Grant, Jay, and Matt, they find that it may just be more complicated than they ever thought. It's not always sunshines and roses. Sometimes it's as simple as taking a chance or just showing up on time, or at least trying to. In life, you don't have a lot of directions or other people who are there to guide you through the process of feeling lost at sea, but, do you have a choice between choosing where you would like to go next? or otherwise, you might be attempting to swim on your own, way out of drowning this year. After six days of a crazy summer spent going to the beach, partying and then she somehow accidentally ended up getting into the same bed as a wide receiver called Collin who was on her older brother's Layton football team. Maybe the storming wind blew him right straight into her life. Sometimes in life, we all go through stuff that could either make or break us into the person who we were meant to be but, we always unexpectedly find comfort in surprising places or people.

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. This had long been completed but still needs edit. Enjoy reading! Cheers! P.S. This is not exactly a love story. And yet, it may read a lot like it.

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
