Layla's summer vacation was going perfect. She was writing a beautiful song, she was in sunny San Diego, and her best friend, Jess, who she hadn't seen for three years, was coming to visit. But when Layla finds out that Jess is obsessed with the most popular boy band out there, Kool Kidz, her summer doesn't seem so amazing anymore. Jess has bought tickets to the Kool Kidz concert in LA, and lucky Layla gets to go along for the trip. Layla absolutely detests how much people are obsessed with the band, but when one of the band members saves hers and Jess's lives, she might begin to understand how all these girls can be so in love with them. Join Layla and Jess on their romantic adventure with the boys that spirals them into the spotlight and teaches them an important lesson: don't judge a song by its title. NOTE: This is just a rough draft. I may change details in the story along the way! Please leave kind critique, and I'll do my best!

*This fucking sucks ass! I wouldn't read it if I were you. I put off editing it because I cringe reading it. If you like it I guess that's good, I was in 6th grade when I wrote it, so maybe it was good for my age. I don't even know.* Hannah Jay hates One Direction with a burning passion, but her best friend is obsessed with the British-Irish boy band. So, when Hannah is asked to go with Kay to a concert and blow off her big English essay that is 50% of her grade, a lot more is added to make her life extraordinary. Going to this one concert gets her a boyfriend, a singing career, and much, much more. In the end maybe the boys aren't so terrible as she believed in the beginning. *Once you finish this and the sequel go check out "The Butterfly" which is where Hannah's life is different because she DOESN'T go to the concert.*
