Caleb Danvers' life has definitely never been perfect. His mother died when he was 1, and since then, it had all been going downhill. His dad is an abusive alcoholic and hits him almost every day, and there was nothing Caleb could do about it.
Now, at the age of 17, getting hit, was an everyday thing.
But what happens, when a group of supernatural humans, kidnap him, in the hopes that it can stop his father's search for them?
Will the life as a kidnapped make him miss his abusive dad?

This book is slightly inspired by the book The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, but all the characters and the plot are both creations of my imagination.
There will be superhumans: humans that have supernatural powers, like speed and strength.
There will be Demons: creatures that lure in the night to 'feed' from humans and kill them. The super humans hunt them down and kill them, to protect the humans.
There will be Elves: They also have super strength and speed, just not as much. They can't use the swords, that kill demons. You turn into an elve by getting injected with poison and then die, but there's only about 10% chance of coming back from the dead.
There will be Vampires: pretty much the same as elves, you only drink blood. You turn into a vampire by drinking vampire blood and then dying. There's a 95% chance of that working.
Then, of course, there will be Humans

Werewolves and vampires don't mix, or that's what Kieran Callisto, a seventeen-year-old vampire, has believed all his life - until he falls for the Alpha's son. ***** When Kieran meets his new classmate, Mason Kane, he bristles with an unexplainable disdain. Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
