Snowpelt and Runningstorm have returned with a powerful prophecy that can either destroy the Dark Forest or strengthen it. They have been chosen to lead the Clan through tough times, though they are not their leader. Meanwhile, when a strange cat has a kit born in ThunderClan, Runningstorm and Snowpelt are determined to find the mother and father. After some cats are questioning the kit, it knows that Snowpelt will never abandon it. This makes Runningstorm hopeful to bring new kits to strengthen the Clan even more. The rare thing about the kit, is that it is brought into StarClan on the same day a storm hits and it snows.

A litter of kits is born that very night, Wolfkit and Frostkit. Ashstar realizes Wolfkit is the prophesied cat and doesn't know how to react. As Wolfkit struggles with her ability, Frostkit has trouble with OutClan, seeing she has been gifted with supreme hunting and fighting skills. Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other. But that is not their only problem, there is evil lurking inside their very Clan and they are the only ones who can stop it. Like? Share? Comment?
