The Fallen Heroes

Landa put out her hand and helped Sarai stand up from where she had fallen when she vaporized the demon. The three girls stood side by side, looking out at the sun setting over Lake Atitlan. Then they turned, and started their hike up the volcano to their camp, their home. The one place where people like them were safe: children of the Mayan gods. (better summary when I come up with one.)
