Before Gaster really became the royal scientist, he was the head scientist in a small band of scientists. They committed research to make artificial determination to keep monsters around longer. But Gaster then had a son and decided to quit. Months later, the new head scientist invited Gaster over to see the work they have done. Everywhere was broken limbs of skeletons. It was horrible. They had tested on made test subjects. All skeletons. They were force fed determination everyday. Only the strongest survived. And that was only 5 subjects. 1A, 2A, 1B, 2B, 3C, and the youngest, 3D. Gaster grew outrageous of this. They had used his research to make something horrible! He attacked the head scientist and was put to quart.
