Short sample of my novel. Carmen is just looking for somewhere to start over after her mothers death, moving to small town Springfield. Unfortunately though, none of her classmates treat her kindly, as Carmen realizes her new home may just be haunted, and not in a good way. The spirit trapped inside may just be trying to kill her, or... Maybe he's trying to tell her something.
