I was the first. I arrived in the Glade, and there was nothing and... no one. I remembered nothing about who I was, who my parents were, what happened. A few days I remembered my name, and that's it. What I found lurking on the other side was not an exit but something much worse. I found my way back, and I spent the next month fending for myself. Food, water, a temporary shelter. After a month, someone else arrived, and this person arrived with supplies. Every month a new person was sent up. Every arrival was the same as mine. They couldn't remember anything. She manages to just keep their suspicions off of her. But she needn't for long, as the date of her extraction is drawing near. And as she waits, she wonders "who will I have to be next?" Just some stuff I need to point out, which I will re-iterate in the first part (the welcome and disclaimer) incase you haven't read this far: There is a lot of SWEARING- like a lot, my OC is a potty mouth. Smoking and alcohol feature fairly heavily - SMOKING is not good for your health, but if you do/are going to smoke, please do so responsibly and safely - ALCOHOL is fine as long as it is consumed responsibly, please don't binge drink as it will seriously damage your body. This story contains GRAPHIC VIOLENCE and MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH because, as you know, Band of Brothers is during WORLD WAR 2 and so there was an awful lot of that.
