In a time when The Holy Roman Empire was divided by internal power struggles, the nations from southeastern Europe were forced to defend themselves against Islam... They failed...
After the conquest of Constantinople, Sultan Mehmed shifted his attention towards north. In his power, the small kingdom of Transylvania could be used as military base against the heart of Europe, but Mehmed still needed to pass one more obstacle for the world to stand at his feet. That obstacle was a prince born in the Carpathian Mountains, baptized in blood on the battlefield and raised by his father with a sole purpose, to kill. The prince was Vlad Dracula, the Impaler...
Codex Dracula combines fantasy, historical fiction and horror stories. Being the first book of the series my goal was to establish the main characters. Chapters 1 and 2 are about Dracula, 3 and 4 are about his mortal enemy Mehmed the Conqueror.

VAN HELSING - A Short Story
[!!CW!! sexual assault, graphic depiction of violence and gore, emotional abuse] "'Not even you can stop me now, Siren!' Announced the now almighty Vampire Dracula. 'I won't be able to on my own... But we are never truly on our own.' She was out of her mind. He took out more than half of us, how will our pitiful beings stop him? I just hope that Imogen's confidence was justified and that together, we'll be able to defeat him. If not then all will be lost forever..." Oh, you are familiar with the story of Dracula? You are? My bad... You must have stumbled upon those names when reading the tales of my good friend Evanora. Surely, you have asked yourself as many questions as they had when the Black Fairy had stranded them with us, in London of 1646. Yet I want to take you back a little further. I am sure that you want to know how Dracula even got to power in the first place. Perfect! It could be a long story but I have time; I hope you do too! Grab yourself a coffee, cocoa or tea, find yourself the most comfortable place to read and your favorite blanket to wrap around you. Or just make the bus, tram or plane seat as comfortable as possible. My name is Lady Ambra and this is my story...Complete

What began as a mission to stop a bloody turf war between two crime syndicates in Gotham becomes an unexpected venture into the dark, erotic and savage realm of the vampire, as Batman faces his most challenging adversary yet: Dracula.
