Within the Southern Atlantic Ocean, just north of the Nightingale Islands, a government-funded facility trains cursed children to be model citizens.
Labeled "menaces to society" because of their supernatural abilities, children from all around the world are taken to the SMB (The School for Model Behavior) to learn how to suppress their powers and become normal. They are also tested on for treatment, so that the evolution of these gifts is stopped immediately. 
When the facility is taken down by a powerful dark force, Janie Parker and her friends must escape and discover who they really are, before their ignorance kills them.
