River is a small 15 year old girl that has been sick sence birth and never had lived a life of her own.  To pass the time in the hospital she reads and reads and reads.  But do these books take her to a place where she rather be?  Living her life as the main character of the books she finds her own adventure.  Getting lost in a book can turn out to be a blessing or a curse.
