However, when Laurel asks him to investigate the mysterious death of her friend's firefighter brother, he can't find the strength to say no. What he didn't expect was to find two new allies in the form of Dean and Sam Winchester.
After Sam decided to stay with his brother, they decide to go visit Star City and taste it's best breweries (mostly Dean's ideas). As they're eating at Starling's brew, Sam read about a bunch of firefighters dying in fires, one by one, in Star City. Dean, intrigued, agrees to go check it out. This would set an unplanned meeting with the Hood, the local vigilante.
