Spring Princess and Night Princess are two warriors from the extra dimensional realm of Saison; A peaceful and beautiful utopia ruled by the five princesses Snow, Dawn, Verdant, Twilight and Faith. They ruled their kingdom with great unity, until the evil Shadow Sisters attacked and stole the most precious items: Winter Bells, Summer Xylophone, Autumn Fork, Spring Flute and Night Castanet.

Without them Saison will slow start to dissappear, so Princess Snow's loyal knight Emblem was then told to seal their memories within a special item called the Royal Lamp. Then after sending them alongside him down to the planet Earth where the Shadow Sisters would never think.
