After being added to an unknown online group chat with twelve other individuals, our four main characters realize that they would have to follow in their parents' footsteps: beating THE GAME. Only this time around, the sixteen of these players would have to deal with a lot more than an in-game war. The four main characters, being born into an apocalyptic version of Earth due to a new antagonist created by some nosy cherubs, come into this story already having a hard life. Defeating a galactic tyrant and ending an Alternian civil-war are just two of the many hardships these individuals would have to go through, along with internal conflict within their group due to obvious differences and many life-changes. (The world-building of this story is based on Homestuck, with the 20 original main characters only playing a small part. This story has all original characters, a whole new plot and hardships, and of course, drama!)

The dead have invaded Earth, the social grid has been destroyed. Anarchy runs hand in hand with chaos and destruction. Thorne's town has been overrun, and she has been forced to go on a road trip that may never end. Along with her best friend, and other accumulated survivors their path has crossed with, they take a journey across the country to get away from the terror of the dead -- and the living. Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything. The child population is at an all time low because of the increases of deadly diseases. Gangs start to rise up to use boys and girls for their own personal gain until Amber Stevenson, a 16 year-old girl from Georgia, witnesses her mother get sick and her father get shot in front of her as she is captured by one of the gangs. The gang that captured her, which are known as The WildFires, are known to be brutal and abusive to their victims. She finds friends in the warehouse but 3 months later, she is on a journey to find her brother and send him away for his own safety and go to Los Angeles to join the rebellion with the girl that once hated her and the first friend she made in the warehouse. Along the way, they discover the truth of why they have the abilities they have, the reason behind The WildFires, and what the labs that put them through hell has actually done. As romances grow and situations start to evolve, the only question on her mind is can she save the only family she has left?Concluida
