She bid more than money

Nick is the basketball captain this senior year. Valerie continues to be the loser, misunderstood girl in the whole school. Then one day, in the annual "Date Bid" event, Valerie decides to change her loser reputation. Nick is forced to go on a date with her since she got the highest bid. Nick doesn't like her just like the rest of the school because of who her father is. Things unfold between the two, and sometimes the future doesn't seem so clear.
