Serena, the Kalos Queen, is waiting for that special person in her life, the one she truly loves: Ash Ketchum. He had made a promise to come back to her after achieving his dream.
Ash arrives back in Kalos as the Kanto Champion. Ash is horrfied that he arrives just in time to save Serena from being kidnapped. Following a short talk with Monsieur Pierre, Ash finds out that Serena has been the most popular Kalos Queen for decades, and therefore making her a target for kidnappers, who can ransom her for great amounts of money.
Ash steps up to a challenge. He will fight to the death for the one he loves.
