    For months I heard his threats,
    The threats he would do if his needs weren't met,
    By now I was used to the pain,
    Deep down I knew I would never be the same,
    I held on to my mind trying to stay sane,
    As tears flowed down my face like raindrops mixing with the hurricane "...."
