Once New Orleans became infected with the "Dark flu" everything changed. School became a doctors appointment and adults beame freakishly worried parents. Just as everyone was getting used to the daily checks, the flu suddenly became deadly. But not everyone is staying dead. Carmen, a normal 17 year old student become's a leader of a group of scared teenagers defending themselves against the walking dead, while trying to stay alive and find safe ground, Romace sparks, voilence grows and friendship becomes the only upperhand. A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. What happens when humanity's hope rests on the shoulder of a teenager? Caleb didn't come out of the zombie uprising unscathed. He's been scarred-both mentally and physically.
