One girls struggle to lead her own life.

"All Benny cared about before you guys moved here was baseball. He said he never had time for girls." "What about now?" ---------------------- "I thought all you cared about was baseball." In the summer of 1962, Scotty and Y/n Smalls have just moved to San Francisco Valley with their Mother and step Father, Bill, when they unexpectedly become friends with a couple of kids with their own baseball team.

When Chloe has enough of everyone around her finding there mates. She decides to go off and live with her friends cousins pack to get her mind off of being alone. Little does she know her mate awaits.

Leigh Marshall is really bad at life. She's a swimmer with four younger siblings, crazy friends, and an inability to keep her mouth shut most of the time. Her life isn't perfect, but she figures that perfect is unachievable. She's fine... for a little while. It turns out that everybody's hiding something, and Leigh's world tips upside down so fast she doesn't have time to blink. And Leigh is completely, utterly lost.

It was two weeks before school let out, which didn't leave me and my little brother, Scotty any time to make friends. The stupid part was, our mother and stepdad made us go to school with only two weeks left. You could imagine how annoyed we were. But what we didn't know is that 8 very different boys would be the ones to save our summer and many after that. This is the story of how me, Emmy Smalls and my brother, Scotty would make 8 friends that would change our lives forever. The Sandlot.

A high school girl's life is drastically changed. With no friends, no decent family within the country, and no hope, how will she make it? Especially when life continues to target her in every possible way.
