Mackenzie is an 18 year old from California who is a huge fangirl. She is always looking at bands. One day, she meets a guy who is what seems like just another stranger that passes through her life. But what she doesn't know is that she used to be friends with the world famous guitar player, Luke Hemmings. Even though she doesn't recognize him, life comes around and tells her otherwise.
