The Selection is a competition where 50 girls compete for the hand of a prince and whoever wins will eventually be his bride and future Queen for his country.
Meet Prince Richard Grayson, or better known as Dick Grayson. He's the heir to the Gotham throne with King Bruce Wayne as his father and Queen Selina Kyle as his mother. He has recently come of age and now it is time for him to have his very own selection.
Meet Zatanna Zatara. The daughter of Giovanni Zatara and Sindella Zatara. In the caste rankings, their family consists of fives. Zatanna never wanted to enter the Selection, but when her family is soon placed into an awful situation she has no choice but to join in order to help her family.
DISCLAIMER: This story is based off D.C. Comics characters and the idea is based off The Selection series. I'm kind of just going off my knowledge from other fan fictions I've read with this concept since I haven't actually read the series, so if I get anything wrong I'm sorry! I do not own any of the characters!!

The Joker steals her life and everything she ever cared about from her. Bruce Wayne takes her in. In his mind it goes a little like this "Keep Your Friends Close, But Your Enemies Closer!" Will this be a great romance or a story of tragedy. This is a fanfiction for specifically Justice League but Marvel and other story and movie characters will show up along the way, I do not own most characters, I only own my creation Grace and Quarters Hearts and the story plot.
