I wrote this (Score #1) listening to "Two New Alphas" from the HTTYD 2 scores composed by John Powell. It might give the story greater personal depth if you listen to it as you read! :)
This is just a short drabble that was inspired by the song. I honestly just love writing anything that involves friendship and bonding.

The Other Night Fury (Toothless x reader)
Basically how the movie hidden world plays out but instead of the Light Fury, its you but as a Night Fury like Toothless, she also felt like the last of her kind. you found a friend before a human attacked your kind. she was a Light Fury. when the human attacked you and the Light Fury were playing like most dragons your age did (your the same age as Toothless). that was when you heard the roar of your kind. you two flew back only to see flames, humans using dragons, and your kind on the ground. one human saw you and brought up a bow. your friend roared as she blasted the arrow he shot. she nudged you for us to leave. by the time he loaded another arrow we were already gone. since then, i've been the last of my kind, the Night Furies. that is, until now I do not own HTTYD or any of its characters or you eitherConcluida

For the love of god, don't read this, please. Editing it to be decent is a hassle and it's complete shit. I am ashamed, I am appalled at thirteen year old me to make such a big disaster that I can't even fix it now. TURN AWAY GO! Also, under edit as I'm changing the name of the OC from Skye to (Y/n). (Y/n) gets kidnapped, stranded, and makes a dragon friend all in a day, and if that doesn't take the cake, the Viking with a Nightfury and a propensity to know every single thing about her might. The only problem is: she's sort of in danger... and has a bounty on her head... and kind of a dumbass who ends up liking the guy. And falling in love with him and his Viking home.
