Madeline Timbers has a plan. A plan of how her life will turn out perfectly. A plan that is absolutely fool-proof. But Maddie didn't prepare for the fool to be her. When old sparks ignite again, she ditches her plan and fills the old plan with the new one. As a sophomore at Metro Spirit high school she wakes up everyday and is forced to put a smile on her face. She couldn't dare ruin her reputation as a preppy and high spirited cheerleader, although she definitely is a smartass.

Aiden Martinez (the son of Roberto Martinez who is also known as the owner of the Grand palace hotels) is a junior and captain of Metro Spirit high's basketball team, and Maddie's crush since she was a little girl. Aiden and Maddie used to be close, but he soon ditched her for popularity and girls. Knowing Aiden could get any girl he wanted, she knew that she had no chance. But oh, that was going to change. Her and her best friends devise a plan that will help Maddie. She will get Aiden's attention, and oh, maybe a few other's too. But what will happen when everything doesn't go according to Maddie's plan?
