Since my mom died, it hasn't been all that easy. My father's way of taking care of me is sending me to a boarding school. He said that "he doesn't know how to handle teenage girls" so here I am at the gates in the passenger seat of my father's car. Waiting to enter a new chapter of my life. My friends have helped me all the way through this but he is making me leave my home and go to a different state. See, my father has never really tried to get to know me. He's had 17 years but he always said that he was busy even though he was sitting in his chair drinking a beer and watching tv. It's just gotten worse since my mom died, but time to put my smile on and enter the gates.
