I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something. In this dystopian world, you can see, via hologram, the last time someone cried. There are people who use this to manipulate and antagonize others. Anna is the center of our story. She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.
