It has been a long long time since the time of the Great Firestar and how he built up a strong appearance of ThunderClan. Ages of moons have passed and yet the clan's have still thrived, helping one another in times of need, fighting with each other over the smallest things. Yet, Starclan has not given them any reason to worry over a huger ordeal then border disagreements. The time of the Dark Forest's threat has passed, the term of prophecies has been exceeded and it has been a time of peace.
Until cats start disappearing in the dead of night. Others are found either dead, or gravely injured in some gruesome way. And when it seems the Clans actually need their ancestors guidance, they have become more vague then ever.
Whispers begin to fill each clan predicting that this is the way of Starclan finally punishing the clan cats for siding with the Dark Forest in the Great Battle.

The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders.
