Years after the hunger games and the rebellion all living hunger games victors receive a letter telling them they have to go back and finish high school.
Also Finnick is alive (it just fits better with the story and provides some comic relief.)
This doesn't follow the epilogue just so y'all know.

We all know the story of the Mockingjay Rebellion. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district.
