The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Depression is hard to deal with, all the time. No matter who or what the circumstances, it's hard. Lots of people have different ways of expressing it; Penny hides in the shadows. Penny has trust issues, and cannot rely on anyone other than herself. It's better to get the job done yourself, right? Craig doesn't believe in that; he thinks everyone should have someone to rely on- someone to trust. ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ contradict♡ry... explores the daily lives and struggles of teens balancing high school, their home lives, and social relationships in this fictional world, specifically, following the two mains with their contrasting upbringings; the perspective of Sage (mostly) or Aspen. Though it does go into romantic territory, which will be recurring throughout, it delves deeper into the respective lives of the main characters and how they are both affected by the home they grew up in despite having vastly different arrangements. Extending to how they both respond, have clashing personalities, relationships with addiction and their peers, and constant conflicts with themselves or others, there's rarely downtime reading through Sage or Aspen. With that, this focus includes all the other characters, who deal with their own struggles and individual personalities, but, at the end of the day, lands on them being teens.
