imagine the person you like constantly being all close to you and making your heart erupt, and they have no clue and you cant do anything about it.
imagine being teased in such a way and having to sit there and smile like everything was normal.

chlea loves river. loves her as a friend. kisses her as a friend. sleeps with her as a friend. cuddles her, holds her, and calls her 'babe' as a friend.
cause friends totally do that, right?
well, not really.
but chlea knew that she and riv were different. they were closer than normal best friends and its never been weird for them because they know to each other they're 'just friends'
untill chlea realizes she might like her 'just a friend' as more than just a friend.
then, it gets a little weird.

Sadly, Austin was too preoccupied with his friends to notice the way Suki felt about him. As they entered into middle school, Austin pursued other girls, leaving Suki to watch from the sidelines, heartbroken. High school brought a glimmer of hope for Suki when she heard that Austin had finally come to his senses and realized he had feelings for her too. But it seemed like fate had a cruel sense of humor when she caught her teammate locking lips with Austin.
