His Return (if not you...)
Her hand's still. I'm gripping it like it's the last lifeline in a storm. In my head, I'm yelling: You got this. Come back. Do it. But hey.. tears, will you stop making an entrance now? I need focus. Stop. I repeat it like a mantra. You can do it. You can do it. Again. And again. I don't know if I'm trying to convince her... or myself. ~~~ When they uncover the truth about the culprit, will they be able to handle it? Or will it tear everything apart? Their relationship is still new. Will it fall apart under pressure, or will they choose to fight for it? Step into Part Two of this gripping journey.. where light meets shadow, and love is tested by truth. ~~~ Hey lovely readers.. this is a continuation of the story 'His Return (what if...)'. The Light in the Dark (Completed)
Cover made by the amazing @mikeyspizzadope (go check them out they're cool) It's 3 A.M., and you can't sleep. Your heart feels like it might burst out of your chest. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Dark Attraction
A collection of deliciously, dark poems. #3 in Poetry - 9/6/18 I hope you enjoy and any time taken to read, is greatly appreciated and if you wanted to hit the little vote button or comment, you will have my eternal gratitude. H x The main theme of this book is the macabre and horror. Some of the poems are inspired by horror movies that carry an age 15 rating. There are also some poems touching upon anxiety issues. If you feel you would be upset by reading anything of this nature, then I would advise that this collection may not be for you. Although, for others, it may be of interest, to see another persons experience of this. I will leave the choice up to you. Whilst there is nothing particularly graphic in here, there are scary themes and also some darker themes. There are also some scary images along with the horror themed poems.
