I live by standards, if you don’t meet my standards I simply won’t give you the time of day. I live by rules… You are a rule breaker? I have no patience for people like you then… I live according to my schedule, don’t like it then tough luck.

This was Lucy’s motto. She was raised to follow the rules, it was something that her family always expected from her. Lucy was raised in a rich household, her family owned a line of clothing businesses called Hudson Waters. Private schools, rich friends, and butlers at every call.

I am reckless, get in the way and you might get hurt. I would never hit a women, my momma taught me better. Rules? Who needs rules when America is a free country… Why call it free if its bound by laws?

This was Winston’s motto, completely opposite from Lucy’s as you can see. Winston didn’t have a good childhood, his father left him when he was little and his mother works two jobs to try and keep up with the bills. He is smart and goes to a private school, that is only because he got in on a scholarship. Street fighters, partying, and endless amounts of work.

When fate throws a curveball in Lucy’s direction she finds herself falling into the arms of Winston himself. Struggling to get away from him, she slowly finds herself opening up to him more. Rule breaking, shoplifting, and fighting can really put a damper on your future right? Truthfully Righteous is not always the way to go though, breaking out and being a teenager is what everyone needs. Maybe it was just up to Winston to help Lucy realize this...
