Everett was messed up long before Peter came along. He was wrong in the brain- or so his family said. Ever since he'd come out six years ago, his family had been nagging him.

"We took you to Church every Sunday. We raised you right. What happened, Everett?"

Peter says they're wrong. Says Everett is perfect, and the way he should be. They met in a support group for the LGBT community, for those who weren't supported.

They were aligned in Syzygy.

Adolescence is a complicated part of anyone's life. Juggling high school, social life, and complex emotions can be exhausting-but the most taxing part of it all is the discovery of one's identity. Amity is still trying to figure out who she is and things only become more difficult after she meets Callie. With the start of their friendship, a whole new side of Amity begins to unravel in the most painfully beautiful way. Their friendship quickly evolves into a legendary and whirlwind romance that teaches Amity the strength and passion of love. Fears of being discovered by homophobic friends and family test the strength of their relationship. But teenagers are naive and, like Amity's mental health, they fall apart, turning a passionate love into a burning heartache. As she navigates the pain, Amity must learn to cope with her internal struggles and face the parts of herself that have been hidden away for so long. When You Loved Me follows the challenging adventures of adolescence, the passion of one's first true love, the devastation of one's first heartbreak, and all the pressure that comes from societal and religious expectations. Yet, despite all the pain, it also explores how to heal. **PLEASE READ** This story will eventually contain the following trigger warnings: prescription drugs/abuse of, depression, anxiety, mental illness, religious themes, religious trauma, internalized/external homophobia, curse words, mentions of suicide, suicide attempts, hospital setting TWs will also be at the beginning of relevant chapters.

READ FULL BEFORE STARTING THE STORY: TW: This book is written lightly, but has also some really serious themes that I want you to know about before reading. It talks about abuse and there are some scenes where a character is having a panic attack. If this is too close for you and you don't feel comfortable reading things like that then It might be best to not start reading /genuine <3 I want you to know before reading that this is a book with a good ending! I'm saying this because I know how devastating it is for some people after reading a story all night. If you've made it this far, thank you for reading! Much hugs to everyone:)
